Default Will this work?

What causes this wear on each lobe?

Could the camshaft be moving forward ad back? Wrong or worn timing cover?

It looks like low spots on the lobe where the parkerizing didn't wear off.

The bottom of the lifter is not flat. As it comes to full lift it makes that wear pattern.

It appears as though at day one in the life of that cam the index between the rough lobe grind and finish lobe grind was off a smidge. That's a great candidate for a KIWI TONY
L-100 regrind.

I think the radius of the bottom of the lifters is 68"
