Default A couple videos on uploading pictures to FordBarn

I see some questions on uploading pictures to the forum.

Here are a couple videos I did to help. (well I hope they do, this is my first time doing one of these!!!)

Uploading an Avatar:

Uploading and creating an album in your profile. Great place to have a few nice pictures of your restoration and or finished project, or just fun photos to share with the other members!!!

Hope these help!!!

Edit: here is a link to do some testing if you want:

If you want to upload pictures on a thread, you must start by clicking on "Go Advanced"!

Then enter your text, then scroll down to "manage attachments"

Click on "manage attachments" and a box will pop up that lets you upload the pictures you want to share on that thread. You can enter multiple pictures in that box.

Make sure your pictures are not too large. Put them in a place you can find them, I put mine in a file on my desk top, or just on my desk top. Easier to find them.

I have found that "photo sharing" sites are good, but, if a person who has used one of these loses their account or ends that account, the pictures are removed from the forum. I have seen many great write-ups on work being done on vehicles with great photos, sadly the photos disappear.

If you think I should try another video on doing this, I will!

I totally agree with you - it's very frustrating going thru threads and finding that pictures are no longer there because they have been removed from the hosting site (such as Photobucket) for whatever reason. It is the same situation on the HAMB. I would encourage all posters to upload the photos directly into Fordbarn rather than linking to a hosting site.

Nice job, thanks for posting this.
I also like it when people don't upload their pics from a site. With slower internet you'll be reading a lower post and it will keep jumping as the pics upload and that is so aggravating. Even though the pics are smaller I hope everyone loads them up the way the software was designed. Under the advanced tab and using attachments. JMHO

I agree.

Keep the change!!!

By the way, Thanks!
