Default 1936 Ford Phaeton woods

Hello, I bought a 1936 Ford Phaeton and a 1936 Ford Convertible Sedan. I haven't all wood.
Have anybody the plans, measures or pictures to repro the word?
Thanks in advance.

Dunno about plans or 1936's for that matter but I did buy all the wood for my 34 roadster from Brads in WA state .

Hi,
I have recently rebuilt my 35 Phaeton replacing all the woodwork (most of which was missing), and the wood on the 35 and 36 should be much the same.
I can post a ton of pictures of how the wood should be but you will have to do as I did and make the wood by trial and error until it fits, a very tedious job.
As per the previous posts, fordwood in utah were supplying wood kits for the front doors and I think the cowl section, they are not cheap but having made these myself, they are very time consuming and hard to make, which is reflected in their price.
I failed to find any plans for any of the woodwork after some years of searching, but was lucky enough to get many pictures from members of this forum.
Before I post a lot of pictures, perhaps you can show us what wood you have left in your body, it will help to determine those that are missing. There are over 100 pieces of wood in these cars, so tell me where you want to start
Best regards
Viv.

This shop is in Utah. I know nothing about them, but they might have what you need.

At $2,300 for a set of the front door wood today, that on ebay from the same source is a real bargain. Having gone through the same process of replacing all of the wood in a '33 phaeton, Viv is not exaggerating one bit as to what is involved, if anything, he's understating what's required.

Yes a real bargain and quickly included the link when I saw them.I replaced the wood in the doors of my Maui found 35 Roadster in 1999.My originals were all termite eaten. I bought the wood kit from an outfit in AZ (Kubels?) .It was $400 a door back then and made of ash. Fit perfectly.

I have bought wood from Fordwood in Utah and from Brads Woodshop. I am not impressed with anything I received from Fordwood and I was overly impressed with what I got from Brads Woodshop. The horrible communication by Kubels should have been a clue. There is no comparison in quality. Fordwood everything was rough finished and loosely packed in pieces in a box with no diagram or direction of door assembly , but at least they were kind enough to charge me $240.00 to ship it 900 miles via UPS in a 10 inch x 10 inch x 4 foot box weighing less than 20 pounds. Brads the door wood was beautifully finished and jig built. This was my experience, and your results may vary

Not sure if I have any more of my car during restoration. Mine is the last few green ones of this batch.
I hope these pictures will help you and others undertaking restoration of these cars, good luck, it takes loads of patience and plenty of discarded wood for the fire or a barbeque.
