Wanted 48 mercury radio delete plate
Need a radio delete plate for my 1948 Mercury. Will a Ford radio delete plate fit? Anyone have one they would sell?
Thanks! Bill in Connecticut [email protected] 860-364-8064 |

Heard of ebay? $15+shipping. If they don't have it nobody does.

Re: Wanted 48 mercury radio delete plate
I bought one from ebay too. Now my question is, how do I secure it to the dash? Unless I'm missing something, the brackets that supported the original radio don't work.
Anybody have a picture or diagram of how it gets mounted to the dash? Thanks, Dave Last edited by Ritzy1; 02-05-2017 at 05:30 AM. Reason: punctuation |

Re: Wanted 48 mercury radio delete plate
Hi Dave,
Just looked at the one I won on eBay over the weekend. It looks to me as if it slips under the radio speaker grill on the top, then there are two tabs on the delete plate on the back on the curve near the bottom that bend over and hold the delete plate in place. I think this is all that holds it in. Bill |

You should use sniping software. Here is the free one I use:
http://www.gixen.com/index.php I almost never lose and auction.
