I bought Lester 6:00x16 wide white wall tires for my 40 years ago when they advertised in Hemmings and found them to be very good tires.

Lester tires have been around a lot longer than any other maker of tires for old cars. They are especially known for the larger sizes used on classic cars such as the ACDs, Pierce-Arrow, Lincoln, etc. I've used their tires off and on for nearly 50 years and they hold up well. Unless you are a stickler for original tread design, the Lester "siped" tread is one of the safest designs of treads on period size tires.

This spring I will be ordering Lesters for my 26 Fordor and I'm a Firestone guy but...for the T I liked the tread and overall quality I noted with the Lesters.
