Default 8BA oil direction

Getting ready to fire up my freshly rebuilt 1953 8BA for the first time and I want to make sure I have everything correct. I've never run this motor before.

The oil system has been converted to high-flow. Am I correct that the oil is LEAVNG the engine from the outer most fitting (away from the block)? The fitting that shared the port where I have the oil pressure sender? See photo.

Thanks,
Carl

Sounds good to me.
You should also check flow direction on filter adapter.

I don't think it is a good idea to use worm hose clamps on a pressurized oil line. You are one clamp failure away from a toasted engine or worse.

Agree^^^ If you want to use plain black hose, use high quality socketless (push-lock) #8 hose and fittings, like those from Aeroquip, that I use.)

Or if the filter is mounted on the engine it could be hard plumbed.
