Default interior upholstery kits

Ready to tackle the job of restoring the interior on my '30 fodor. Have been reading previous posts regarding different "kit" makers and places to buy currently available. Would appreciate comments, dos and don'ts on this subject before making a decision.

Be certain to ask if they have the material you on hand before making the commitment. Eckler’s told me it would take 6-8 wks. Four months later they said they didn’t have material and had no idea when they would. I’d already rescheduled my installation date from December to April. I should have known better given their customer service history.
Deal with an honest vendor! Classtique quoted 5-7 weeks and likely sooner and yes, they had the material in inventory. They delivered early!

Just my experience with the former LB kits. When you receive the kit open asap to insure the parts and pieces at least "look" like they will fit. I helped with one car and the rear door panels were for either Briggs or Murray but did not fit. Many guys buy a kit and let it sit for many months. If it needs correcting....sooner is better.

Funny thing since they are the sole supplier (-they are the ones having it made and sell to the resto us) for most Model-A interior materials. What bodystyle & fabric did you order??
