'29CC assembly question.

Putting together a '29 closed cab. Since I have no point of reference, as I didn't repair / replace anything ( I have new corners and door post wood) - How does the cab corner attach to the wood at the door? Also, what should my measurement be from the cowl post to the jamb, so the doors will fit? Thanks in advance.

In Les Andrews volume 2, there is a very helpful section on 28/29 CCPU cab information. I copied the section and attached the pictures to this post. There are 3 more picture I am post in a second response.

Thanks for the info. I have the roof and all that pretty much figured out. My question is regarding the cab corners where they wrap around to the door jamb. Glue? Tacks? Mine came with steel jambs that were somewhat crudely welded to the original cab corners. I'm trying to do this correctly.

Road Trip, You can email neil@aafords and ask for photos of 82-A quarter panel to lock pillar attachment if you want. Lock pillars are wood and quarter panels are nailed to lock pillars.
