Brian, have you done a compression test to see if there's much difference in the average from one side to the other?
Yes Adam, I did so today...both sides even at 95 psi. so, combustion chambers, whilst different configurations, would appear to be very close in cc's

Has anyone angle milled either head to reduce the CC volume, on a 24 stud 59a head it is suggested that a 1pt increase can be achieved, your thoughts?

21 stud with flat top pistons ,I run a dome type head on one side with a flat top on the other side like the top picture .I did a rough comparison cc with saw dust it didn't seem to be any difference any way the car runs smooth and strong .Unconventional yes , Hey thats just me always

FlatheadTed, also interesting to hear that; reinforces the notion that these aren’t particularly fussy motors unless you’re looking for big horsepower gains
