cowl vent on a 24
I just saw a 1924 coupe with a cowl vent. I thought it was 26 or 27 but this car is very original and the vent had a handle on the inside to lock it open. Was this a southern option on enclosed cars, never saw one before, Chuck.

Re: cowl vent on a 24
I owned a '24 Model T coupe for over 50 years and it always had a cowl vent. I don't know in which Ford factory it was built though.

Re: cowl vent on a 24
1924 and 1925 closed cars had a cowl vent, for 1926 and 1927 it was a cover for the gas tank filler not a vent.
