12 volt bulbs on 6 volt system?
I just purchased turn signal lights with 12 volt bulbs. I hooked them up and they worked. Will they continue to work? If so, will there be any harm. Should I take them out and get 6 volt bulbs?

You won't hurt 12v bulbs in a 6v system, but they almost always end-up being far too dim to be seen safely. You sure about what you have? DD

No harm for the equipment but sertainly for your safety. 6V bulbs will light up much brighter than the 12V bulbs. Drive safely.

I agree with V8 Coopman. From my experience they will work and not hurt anything BUT they are very dim.
