IN the 60's. I worked for a Ford tractor dealer and they had a '53 that was pretty worn and I was given the job of rebuilding it to a serviceable condition. That included replacing all the bushings on all the spring hangars, what a job for a young guy! Nice truck!

Beautiful Truck! Had a '53 and regret ever being talked out of it. Love what you've done with it!

Great looking truck!! Every time I see one like this, I start dreaming about replacing my '99 F150 with something like this. Then reality sets in, and I realize that that would only mean another vehicle needing to be kept up 100% that I couldn't use to haul anything, and I wake up.

Tubman: I use my '51 as a truck, hauling everything that she'll carry. Ditch that F150 and build something FUN!

I'm with Tim, I use our '51 F-1 almost as a daily driver, and it hauls most everything I need to use a truck for. I admit, I have an '03 F-150 that I use for the "dirty jobs".

You get an "A" for a job well done. Now, go out there and enjoy your little truck.

Thank you for all the comments! I did the truck to match my 97 F150.
