Rubbing
Have a 29 special coupe, hard turn causes rubbing on front tire, all stock, 21” tires. Any thoughts?

Tire is probably hitting the brake rods. It could be that the tires are oversize. Firestones are a bit oversized. you could fix it by putting a washer under the stops on the axle.

Are the stop nuts on the front or rear of the axle?

My Coker 21" radials are substantially larger than the multiple brands of bias rags I took off. They rub just a little in a tight turn.
