Caged Nuts needed
Anyone out there know if any body is making 3/8 -24 square nuts and stamped cages. Roy Nacewicz, sold them, but he has past away.

If you are talking about the 'weld in' caged nuts that are available, then just tack welding on a standard nut should serve the same purpose.

Michael,
One advantage of the original version is that it provides a little bit of wiggle room so that the nut can be moved around slightly making it easier to start the bolt in the nut, especially when attaching rear fenders. Judging from the C&G catalog image and others of the modern version, the nuts are fixed in place with tabs. With either type it helps if the bolts are like the originals with a slight taper at the threaded end of the bolt. |

I am after 12 3/8-24nuts and cages for my 40 Tudor, m sons40 Delivery and grandsons 39 I am in Australia, have emailed you with Roy’s part no. For bolts 3/8 and 5/16 . |
