Re: stromberg efire for 59ab
The problem seems to the lack of a second bushing in the e-Fire and the subsequent lack of support. Here is the most germane post by a Barn member who actually worked with one :https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showt...ight=stromberg. He makes the point that a stock rebuilt crab (with two bushings) is a better choice. (You can add an electronic conversion module if you wish.)
I personally know Murre and he is one sharp individual with a lot of experience. |

We exchanged emails a month or so ago. He is extremely busy with his other businesses. He is an amazing guy; he does machine work for the engines in marine ocean-going vessels for one thing. I think he did "car stuff" when he had some slack time, but it sounds like that's in the past.

Re: stromberg efire for 59ab
like most electronic dizzys they are sensitive to voltage and any sudden change can have dire results some more so than others other problems can also cause voltage to flucuate and at six volts there isnt a lot of room to play with. Not a great problem with a good electrical system but can require a little reworking to guarantee a constant voltage supply mallory msd actually supply a control box that does this
