Default 35 Tudor Flattie Exhaust

Working on customer's 35 Tudor. 37 engine with Fenton cast headers.
I am looking for ideas/pics of exhaust systems.
There is not room to to route it through the frame on the driver side with the battery, brake master and clutch master all in the way.
I was thinking of maybe oval tubing and going under the running boards or, just under the frame.
So, if anyone has done something similar, let's see what you have done!

On a '35 I had I had the shop rout it around the batt along the frame. Never liked it.On my old '36 coupe I had the shop rout it (both sides)down below the X member and out back.I made sure it was in sections so I could disassemble if necessary. To me much better.

I am with deuce lover on this. I routed my duel exhaust under the frame as well on my 40 pickup.

It has been well established for many years that there is no value to headers on a stock or modified flat head, other than bragging rights. The stock '35-36 log type manifolds with two inch pipes do a very good job.
I moved the battery from under the floor boards on my '36, putting it in the trunk. The Optima 6v battery's are small enough to fit in the engine compartment adjacent to the starter.
My '36 has had hydraulic brakes since 1952 using a '39 peddle assembly. There was no problem routing the left head pipe around the peddle/master cylinder assembly through the frame and attaching it to a stock type muffler, which I have on the right side also.
I gave up on noise many years ago, silence is golden.
I have a brand new, 68 year old, set of headers hanging on my wall in my garage that I never used because I could not get them to clear the steering gears without doing some hammer work on them.

My solution was to just go a larger single system. It still sounds great and flows well. This is obviously on my Rhd 35 , with a 21 stud engine. I fabricated 1 3/4” headers into a 2 1/2” system. My roadster dual exhaust used to go under the frame and I hated it.
