Did Ford ever offer accessory rear wheels covers ( spats ) for the '39 and '40 Mercurys ?

dont know if they came from ford but mine came with a set on the rear wheels

Hard enough to get a rear wheel off of a 39-40 Merc as it is. Would be pure hell with skirts. LOL
