Default and the Antique/Classic Car Award goes to..

Yip, Sarah is an award winner now.........but nothing like some of you guys. Haven't seen the plaque yet.......but was officially informed. I didn't stay for the awarding, too much mud at the Fair grounds.

Yes, you have a beautiful car and I also like the wheel color.

What is the story on the building. I assume it was a house since it has a chimney. Is it being restored?

I believe it has been repurposed, sure looks like it's on a slab to me.

Not repositioned, it's in it's original spot. Back in the 70s, the owner at that time incased in concrete the lowest foundation logs and preserving those logs and giving the whole structure a concrete floor where there was the original sod floor. It is being totally preserved and restored now. In some spots, you can see those ground logs sticking out from the concrete. The guy who owns it now has had it for three years, when he bought it, it couldn't be seen from the road about 40 feet away.

Thanks for al the congrats.....

I don't think she would have been given jack shite last year but with all the work Larry put into her last winter, I allowed it this year. I would have enjoyed the grading but at the time she was being looked over, I was cleaning up gas run-off.

I took a look at the Hamburg website.

I see that Sarah's picture made it to the home page.
I also see that you are the mayor. Did you mention that?

Cool!

I try not to. I was relegated to the position when the elected Mayor resigned. The village arseholes was driving his health down. Now an ex-Army Drill Sergeant is the Mayor, situation is under control!!!!

Can't believe that this is your first.

A beautiful car needs a beautiful Cookie Pusher, Gid, Looker, Mugbug, Pigeon, Whiz Bang, frail...and if you're lucky you'll get a honey cooler.

Then you can cruise out to the clam bake down at the gin mill!

There is more paint and chrome on the radiator shell than on my whole car.
It is really good looking!
