Default bob drake rear shock kit

Anyone tried the new Drake rear shock and sway bar kit? Would like to know how well it worked and how hard was the installation. Thinking about using it on a 40. Thanks Len

I placed an order for this kit in Nov. 2010. They still do not have them in stock to ship. Not really great p.r. for customer satisfaction.

I would check out Pete & Jakes hot rod parts and Posies rods and customs. The 35-48 rear sway bar kit is #8035.

On my 39 P/U I'm installing a front stabilizer bar. Will let you know how that works out. Both company's have almost 80 years combines exp. My .02

Do you know how the shocks mount to the axle? I emailed Drake a week ago, still no answer. I bought a lot of Drake stuff in the '90s when I built my '40 and customer service was "inadequate" then in my opinion, must not have changed. I was satisfied with their products but it was sometimes painful to get them.
