As I understand it, they were used in 1928-only, and then Ford switched to the two styles of "Budd" disc wheels ?

( never seen the 20" wires in "Real life", myself...)

Ours was built in Early 1928 .Around April .. brake lever is on the left side , Hooked up live with the service brakes ... different front fenders etc.etc. Makes her unique

That is one beautiful truck! I've never seen another like it. I too love those wheels on it. What a gem.

I love it!
What a nice display on the golf course.
What is the history of your truck?
Was it a Pepsi truck back in the old days?

She is an early 1928 It was bought by Pepsi around 1980 ... she was patched up back then and painted to look like the pepsi trucks did in 1928 ( as best they could ) .. She was used for about 14 years for displays etc. ... She was then parked for darn near 15 years at the back of a barn in a museum and basicaly not touched ... Pepsi still owned her ...We got a hold of her in London and with 5 volunteers at Pepsi , myself included , we rebuilt her using proper wood ( red oak deck and racks ) repairing the brakes and electrical and the skills of all and made her what she is today .. Pepsi funded all parts and an autohauler for the project ... there are more pictures on my profile that shows the work we did ... She is all original .. original Engine ( never overhauled ) 34000 miles , original multidisc clutch and drive line .. She runs great and is used for parades and shows .. Check out my profie for more pictures .. p.s the pictures are backwards in order ..start at bottom
