The tie rod ends should be different thread, ie left hand or right hand. This allows the tie rod to be turned with both ends loose to lengthen or shorten for a fine adjustment. Turning one end a full turn is the coarse adjustment.

Thank you,I thought so. BUT, I cant turn tie rod. These parts are all 7-8 years old on a car that has been under resto,in other words new parts. JUST got on road! Checked toe in,about 1/2 in shy. Tried turning tie rod with pipe wrench,no luck. Stopped before I bent something. Checking with you guys to be sure I was headed in right direction. Ill try heat on ends of tierod this weekend. Maybe that and good swift tap with hammer could loosen those threads.
THANKS AGAIN!

Stock early Ford?
If so then remove the entire tie rod.
Tackle one end at a time with the tie rod clamped in a vise. Remove ends and refit making sure they are both free and centered. Then refit to vehicle and adjust as necessary.
Sanity check: You're not trying to turn the drag link are you? That is solid and won't turn.
Mart.

I would follow Mart,s advice and remove the entire tie rod. Once you blow it apart, wire wheel the threads and lube them with Never Seize. The rod should be able to move in and out for alignment, toe in and toe out. If you can't move it with a pipe wrench and it's only been on the car 7 or eight years something is wrong.

To correct that "left of center" situation, that will require adjusting the DRAG Link. You will need to LENGTHEN the drag link slightly, maybe ONE or TWO turns. DD
