THAT BLACK AND YELLOW WIRE ON MY 39 PKUP. GOES TO THE OIL PRESSURE SENDER THIS IS A TYREE MADE HARNESS I AM USING . sunshine

my 39 pkup. this wire goes to the oil pressure sending unit. I am using a TYREE wire harness SUNSHINE

One could look under the dash and see what color the wire is on the oil gauge.

Thanks to all who weighed in the mystery wire. It was the wire to the oil pressure switch which now works after we got it started. Cecil had an excellent tip in checking which color wire was attached to the gauge under the dash.
