57 2 door ranch wagon
Are all 57 2 door wagons a 'Del Rio', or were there different trim levels of these 2 doors? Thanks

Re: 57 2 door ranch wagon
The '57 brochure image at this link shows a base 2dr 'Ranch Wagon',
and the 2dr 'Del Rio Ranch Wagon' as a higher trim level. http://www.oldcarbrochures.com/stati...ochure-05.html |

Re: 57 2 door ranch wagon
There were two 57 Ford Two Door Wagons, the Ranch Wagon and the upmarket Del Rio Ranch Wagon. |

Re: 57 2 door ranch wagon
There were actually three different exterior trim levels on the 57 RANCH WAGON -

Re: 57 2 door ranch wagon
So, the one on the far right is the del rio? It has a gold colored insert in the double trim down the body side? Not that it really makes any difference to me, I have always loved the 57 ford wagons in any layout or trim.

It was a continuation of the 1956 PARKLANE trim level, a response to the CHEV NOMAD/PONT SAFARI.

Re: 57 2 door ranch wagon
So does this mean you might be movin' on up from a flathead to a Y block?

The flatheads will remain, The ranch wagon would be really nice for the dream road trips, the old homemade woodie maybe best suited for our island roads.
