also this will allow them to reset the pressure plate to the correct height so you can adjust the clutch correctly

Flywheel has,nt been used after the polishing. That blueish colour is thin coat of hamerite to protect from surface rust where there is no contact from the disc.

OK, someone straighten me out here, what are these references to 10 inch flywheels and 9 inch flywheels? Are we referring to the pressure plate hole pattern on the flywheel or mixing up the term pressure pate with flywheel?

we are actually referring to the disk diameter and is generally quoted in two numbers ie a truck clutch disc may be 15 x9 or 15 x11 both are 15" diameter but have different size centers in the flywheel both fit the engine and bolt up but trust me get them wrong and all hell brakes loose. Thats why i suggested taking the whole thing to a clutch guy so he can have a look and sort it out
