An Ordinary Adventure
I got this book for Christmas (which we celebrated a little early this year):
An Ordinary Adventure: My Mother on the Mother Road https://smile.amazon.com/dp/17186947..._xoF5FbV1YE3ZR I really enjoyed reading it, so much so that I read the entire book in a single sitting. You might enjoy it as well. We tend to be spoiled with high speed Interstate transportation and franchised hotels and restaurants. It was interesting to read about what was available on the Mother Road in 1934 as well as what is still available on some sections of the road in present day. Re: An Ordinary Adventure
There is an article in the Nov/Dec issue of the restorer magazine by this author (Diane Wood) and is an interesting read...

Re: An Ordinary Adventure
An article about this adventure also appeared in the July 2020 newsletter publication of the Victoria Association. It is attached.
