I know you've got it done now,but you can squash short tubular rivets with a ball bearing and a pair of vise grips.You can make it look like machine done.

Good info on the leather corners. Ive wanted to do them on mat car as well!

When I purchased my A it had the remnants of rubber corner protectors. 2 were missing and the remaining 2 were already falling apart. But from what I could tell they just slid over the corner and held in place with rivet, nut/bolt. Has anybody seen any rubber ones for sale? I looked a while ago with no success.
