If you intend to use them for YOM registration check to see if the DMV will accept restored plates.

Please forgive me for hijacking a thread but I have a 1928 Arizona plate I'd like to have restored. No problem confusing jurisdictions here!
Anyone got any suggestions please?

I've used this guy: Cost less for him to do a resto than for me to buy the paint and try to do it myself.

They are not allowed in Massachusetts.

That is the organization but looks like they only do Oregon plates. Sorry but you may want to call them. They may help or know of others that do other states.

Don't do it in MA, they wont let you use it for YOM, it will be a wall hanger. ( You are allowed to use one plate )

There were two vendor at last Falls swap meet in Silverdale, Wa. put on by the Olympic Peninsula Antique auto club. I talked with both about how they did it since I was doing one. Cannot remember their names but if you contact the club they could probably tell you who they were. I think they were both from the NW.
