Default Underslung

Anyone ever convert their suspension to Underslung? How? Pro's, con's?

An "underslung" has the frame & springs hung under the axles. One of the most famous was the American Underslung which was made around 1905-1912 or there abouts. With the frame & springs below the axles they were very low & sleek looking for their day. With Ford's buggy type springs I don't see how this could be accomplished. Underslungs had four springs. A friend had one about 30 yrs ago. Harry Stutz was one of the designers.

Are you thinking of Model T style underslung brackets used on an A ? Bob

They don't have to run to be enjoyed. I'm here to enjoy the hobby, and enjoy the cars no matter what they look like. Most of the worlds problems are electrical.

Underslung sounds like them guys thet wear their pants way down----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------to THERE!! Are they held by STATIC ELECTRICITY or VELCRO or VIAGRA??

you can reverse the eyes on the front spring to lower it about 1 1/2" and/or replace the axle with a 32-34 axle to give you about 1 1/2". a commercially made dropped axle will get you another 2-4". for the rear, installing a T spring brings it down quite a bit

The first is transportation. I don't have a clue what the second one is.

Leaving out the rubber block and related parts really plays hell with float-A-motors , for sure !!!
