Default Re-run Road Trip

Did a road trip of 913 miles over the last three days, all of which I'd done before and shared here. I spilled water on my camera at the beginning and drowned it so couldn't get any new pictures nor video. So, I'm sharing pictures and video previously taken of this route for anyone that wants to see again or missed the first time.

Here's the map of the trip.

Interactive map for anyone wanting to "fly" it: https://goo.gl/maps/Ebg1RCK7bpj

Vermillion Cliffs National Monument east of Jacob Lake, Arizona:
Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfomoLP7q4I

Navaho Bridge, the only way to cross the Colorado River before the Glen Canyon Dam Bridge:

Old one on the right, now just a walking bridge. New one on the left.

Monument Valley:
Here's the video. First I ever took. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GR8Xe_IvOmk

Forrest Gump stopped running here:

Two Sisters

The Cube

The Mittens

Moki Dugway:
Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQ8L...ature=youtu.be

(Find the two wrecked cars down from the road)

Driving west of Natural Bridges National Monument: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYc_b19sF88

The newest National Monument in Utah created by Pres. Obama in the final hours of his presidency (very controversial in Utah). Bear's Ears National Monument, the 7th national park or monument in Utah.:

Right in here is where the flat tire fits. Yeah, same one that went flat on my last trip. Need to change the inner tube I think.

Crossing the Colorado River at Hite on Lake Powell:

Scenic drive west of Hanksville:

Craig, did you stop by my house this time? If so, sorry I missed you. I'm in California working. Believe it or not, Lawrie has been to my house more times than you. Wayno

Ol' Henry,

My wife is generally very supportive of my old car habit, enjoys going on drives and tolerates shows, but not one to take a huge interest if I were to try to show her something on a car forum. Despite that, I had her look at these photos because of how much we enjoyed our RV trip to southern UT a few years ago.

"Wow! That's amazing!" was her reaction. She even showed them to her mom, who lives with us. "Does he trailer the car from home and the just drive it around at the destination?" Nope, I said, he drives it the whole way with his dog and sometimes he takes his wife and mother-in-law. "Well, you've got a wife, a dog and a mother-in-law."

Nope. Since I didn't have a camera I didn't stop anyplace except for gas and food and sleep. This trip was just one pure unending cruise.

Looks like the perfect recipe for a very fine road trip!

Can I suggest a sidetrip on 143 out of Cedar City. My avatar was taken on 143 at Brianhead as I worked at Cedar Breaks in 1958 so I'm very familiar and quite fond of the area.

Good idea. That is a very pleasant drive up over the mountain to Cedar Breaks National Monument. Did it years ago in a Toyota but haven't done it in Old Henry yet.
