Default Model A engine, Model T frame, Model A axles.

Im gonna build a dirt racer or speedster style car out of some old junk. I got a T chassis for free from a club friend. I also have A axles and all the brake rods and pieces. When I loosely bolted the rear axle in the axle landed right in the hogs head. Aside from the width at the engine mounts is this a bit straight forward for a swap?

If you can trade the t frame for an A frame all the parts should fit better, however if you wanted to use a T frame … i'm not 100% sure of how you'd fit them.

Likely possible with a lot of crafting. Model A engine would need A rear end, you could fab brakes to the front of the racer.

This hot rod done that way, says its barn original, but seems to be a later redo, appears as T frame, front cross member moved forward. Would need that as a Model A engine with stock front mounted water pump and fan would spear the Model T radiator as its too close in std. frame.

Lots of A frames around, so no need to work with that limp noodle T frame.

I have a clean A frame and a couple sets of axles. I have been on the hamb for years. Ignore the post. I started a build on the hamb.
