Re: Rear Seat
You have answered my questions. This rear seat back was made during 1928-29 and now I can see how to hang it in the car. Thanks to all that replied to my questions I have learned a lot and maybe others have too.

Re: Rear Seat
Speaking of 28/29 Tudor rear seats, I just had my seats re-upholstered. I try to fit the two metal 'hooks' to each other, and the seat hangs about two inches off the bottom cushion... I assume the two 'hooks' should 'meet' each other, correct? In earlier discussions about my original upholstery, someone mentioned that it looked like I had a 1930 seat, as it was pleated. Previous to my new upholstery, I can't swear the two hooks were ever connected. I believe the seat back was just 'thrown' in to rest on the seat bottom. When I just tried to 'hook' the two braces together, I saw they were NOT aligned. So I moved the seat hooks to meet each other, and found the seat now hangs too HIGH..... Any ideas? Thanks!

Re: Rear Seat
I just looked at the clip on my cushion, and it is a 30/31 style. See pic. Could that be my problem? Would a 28/29 clip fix it?
