Default brake linings

What do you guys use ? I have a terrible squeal problem with my front roadster brakes. Cast iron drums and what appears to be woven linings. It has been suggested that I use molded linings as the so-called woven linings today are not good. My present linings are in good condition but I want to get rid of the noise. Any suggestions on a supplier. Thanks, Bill

Before you go to the trouble of replacement, try spraying the linings and drum surface with Brakleen, and see if that doesn't stop the noise.

Try a large worm drive hose clip ( we call them Jubilee Clips over here) around the drum Two hose clips joined together are preferable in fact as they balance better.- This simple dodge has cured many a squealing drum.
