Default Hartung cars already on ebay

There are already three A's from the auction listed on eBay. given the seemingly higher sale prices with buyers premium, it will be interesting if they sell at the price the seller will have to ask. Gonna be tough to make any money off them.

There are an awful lot of cars for sale on eflay AND very few selling. Most over priced or rediculous reserves. Gonna be hard to sell the hartung cars for a profit especially after paying 15% premium and getting them hauled off the auction site. JMO

There were NO Bargains. unless you consider the Edsel for 200.00 which was a great deal. Things went nuts for stuff that was worth 1 third the amount., His personal roadster went for 22K.....ABSURD!!! it was worth 4500.00 tops as it was basically sheet metal BUT FUN...
Ken Ehrenhofer got the best.,.,1931 bus!

Whoever the seller is, they spent about $25,000 for the 6 cars, including tax and premium. I have no idea what the T's or Continental will go for but it could be close if he is hoping to make some money.

How are they listed on EBAY? Under what seller? I don't plan on bidding I'm just curious.

Steve,

It would be nice if you gave the ID number. I would be interested in looking but not interested enough to spend time searching.

Just look up newly listed in the Model A section. Then click on the sellers other items.

I wonder if some nice original parts have been scoffed off them before they were put up?

Charlie, I agree, I was posting from my phone, and sort of in a rush. I knew someone would add a little extra info, as this is going to be interesting to watch the outcome.

Thanks,
Steve

The 1920 T looks like a 1912 in body style.

That's a non original body not to mention the hood, firewall & fenders are all 1917-22 low hood style. Also of note is the electric starter and generator.

What gets me is, the buyer took all those pictures and wrote up a description, and posted this on ebay without ever removing the cars from the auction location. Hummmm.

They also borrowed a number of photos from the Auctionsamerica website.

This certainly didn't appear to be auction to go to for a quick flip, little win fall type of thing, I think the buyer may get a little surprise of not such a good decision... JMO

I'm amazed at the prices of some of the parts lots, one grill sold for more than 2 grand. The Model A roadster pickup that sold for around 5 grand, I didn't think that was a bad deal, but there was another Model A (fordor?) sold for 8000, I've seen fully restored cars for that price.
