Rumble seat/ seat back mounting question
The seat back hangs by two clips that fit into to the two slots. My problem is that the seat back easily slips out of one of the slots. There is a residue of previous attempts to afix it in place with some type of adheasive. How is the seat back normally anchored in place?
PS think my horn is fixed, thanks everyone Burt |

Re: Rumble seat/ seat back mounting question
there are two tabs at the bottom of your springs with holes in them
there should be a screw in them to the rumble lid tom |

Re: Rumble seat/ seat back mounting question
The bottom of the seat back should have some tabs to screw into the rumble lid. I believe the lid has two captured nuts at the bottom.

Re: Rumble seat/ seat back mounting question
Had the same problem. Every time the lid was closed the seat would come out of the "slip-in" tabs. We used two # 8 chrome sheet metal screws with two conceived chrome washers, drilled two areas on the top edge of the seat (through the leather) and into the back metal and locked the seat into place.
