Default 1951 Ford F1 flathead to T5 (Transmission Mount)

Hello, Have a 1951 Ford F1 with a stock flathead and would like to install a T5 transmission. Am puzzle about the transmission mount. Does anyone have any pictures or suggestions on a transmission mount. Have thought about cutting out a space on the original crossmember and welding a plate to the cut ends and then bolting a channel to the 2 vertical plates for the mount. |_|
Regards, Dan

This section is not for car questions, it's for issues with the site. You need to ask on the Early V8 forum or as this is a mod you might try H.A.M.B. over on Jalopy Journal
