Default best source for parts/rebuild brake cylinder

I bought the last "new" brake cylinder I could find on the shelf anywhere in the state last year and the dang thing has leaked ever since installation.

I have the original Ford master and would like to rebuild that one, where is the best source for those parts shy of finding a good USA made master.

thanks

Haden’s 253-845-7020. I have used them several times over the years. I’ve never been disappointed. Good luck

Early Ford V8 Sales in South Carolina sells both new master cylinders and rebuild kits.

NAPA for a NEW master. They are beautiful and actually are the concourse correct casting with the CORRECT cap. As I recall, about $50 all in.

Mike:
The original MC used back in 1939 and 1940 was more rounded than the one you show in your book. I had an original one resleeved when restoring my truck. I can not believe that NAPA has one today of this original shape. I still have a few of these old cores I have saved from many years ago. Let me know if you are not familiar with the original shape.........Larry
