Default 39 coupe steering

Hi Gents

When turning my wheel, I hear a squeaking noise. My plan is to get under call and pull locking clip. Then pull horn button out about a foot and lube with a lithium spray grease.

This sound like right move?

Thanks Fordy - no bushing....

My hope was ask and check here prior to trying. At 84, these old bones do more than squeak, when working under the car But, it was so annoying, I gave it a shot. My theory worked, if anyone else has similar issue on the 39, read my post above.
