If you are that sad and intent on contacting him, why don't you check his profile where he has something for sale where he lists his phone number??

I had been in touch with him, for several years since he built my Flathead.

Just wanted to see how he was doing, (he's had similar problems as i do).

Since i consider him a friend, i'm sorta disappointed that my messages are no longer accepted.

He's revered on here.
I too have wondered and asked members what's become of him due to not seeing his responses or posts as often as we have seen in the not so distant past. It was mentioned not too long ago he's been busy in his interests.
Naturally we'd have great concern with a title or heading of "sad".

Okay guys, lets all relax, and quit beating up on Hope.

I got an email through to Walt and his wife today, and they filled me in on what has happened. First, and formost, Walt is okay and doing well. Second, the problem is Walts computer got a virus back in May or June, and they have not been able to get this repaired. Hence, Walt has not been able to get on Fordbarn, nor can he receive messages in the form of PM's through the Fordbarn system.
Walts wife said that anyone who wishes to contact Walt, is welcome to email or call him. I have his email address and phone number, which I will give to those who send me a PM and ask for this info. I'd rather not post this information here.

John, thanks for clearing that up. I know a lot of us are relieved to know Walt is OK, even if his computer is not.
