Cool Model A Barbecue

OK, ... I thought I'd seen some crazy stuff, ... but this one is pretty out there. I was looking through Craigslist for some 19" wheels and I found a Model A Barbecue. I must admit, ... it works well together.

Bill

Good use for junk parts but i sure as heck wouldn't want to eat anything off it...All sorts of nasty things in the metals especially the oil pan!

What?! A Little zinc never hurt anybody. But the lead, chromium, cadmium, petroleum and Babbitt might give you a tummy ache.

Ron Moser built a number of those a few years ago. They were cleaned well to start with and worked well, the weathering came later, burgers were great.

A few years ago, it was the craze to use the rear part of a 1950/60's car to make a settee. It seems the latest is to cut up a 1930's car and put the BBQ where the motor was. I don't think I could eve cook on a barbie like that, let alone eat from it.
I heard recently of a late 30's barn find car that looked like it would go with a little TLC meeting that fate.
'nuf to make yer cry.

Saw a Grill, made from a toilet. The tank held the Ice & Beer. Chief used an Old, Round Forge, for a Grille.
