Default Stipes shocks help

I just received a set of Stipes shocks and there are no instructions as to their use. Does anyone have a set of instructions or aren't there any? I emailed them but no reply. I'd like to get them on this weekend. Thanks, David

MMMM I did receive a set of instructions with mine. Let me dig around on my book shelf. I just bolted mine up and away I went. They should be engraved "clockwise and anti clockwise" On of our senior tech guys in the club said not to mess with adjusting them. Just bolt and go. As I recall in the instructions it says how to adjust if needed.

They are preset when they are shipped. Only after you have driven it some should you adjust them.

Detailed adjustment instructions are in the Service Bulletins. This reference to looking in the book is not politically correct to some. But there it is. I also agree that you should use them as delivered from the factory.

So the AC and the CW are the same for Stipes as per the service bulletins?

They are supposedly built as original.

The instructions Benson posted are what came with my Stipe Shock. Ensure you check the adjustment, two of mine were open more than the ¼ turn stated in the instructions.

I had to adjust the valves when I received mine. I set them at approx. 1/4 open, and fine tuned them from there.
