Pictures, how to post?

Very important to have the photos reduced in size to 800X600 pixels before attempting to attach them or you won’t be able to upload them to the Barn. I use a Photoshop edit program, but there are other programs and ways of doing this.

The secret might be closely kept but 1600 x 900-ish seems to be a size that always works for me. It's those buggers that are over 3000 in any dimension that get spit back.

If you have Windows, there's a program called PAINT, and it'll resize and rotate and save anything it'll open.

Unfortunately, later versions of "Windows" have something called "PAINT 3D" that I find very difficult to use.

You can usually email them to yourself and the will automatically get reduced to a size that is usable.

I found my pixil settings in the camera menu, and use the smallest setting- works everywhere. newc

If your a Windows user download Photoscape it has a setting to save in 600x800, it can also due a bulk convert of pictures.

For an IPad I use an photo editor app from Axiem and just crop the pictures, then I’m able to upload.

- right mouse click on the picture on your computer
- Select "Edit"
- Microsoft "Paint" opens
- select the "Resize'' button
- Select "Pixels"

- put in 800 in top box
- Check off "retain aspect ratio" Attached Thumbnails
