Default 1929 Coupe Latch Assembly Question

My passenger (right in pic) door latch assembly wasn’t working so I yanked it out to replace the springs. To my surprise, there were none! So I yanked the driver (left it pic) to use as a guide for assembly. I noticed the driver side had a lever in it that the passenger didn’t. Is this correct? Is this the locking mechanism from the inside? Do I need to replace this passenger latch if I can’t find this piece?

It does. Thanks Bob. Looks like the passenger side does not have the lock, which is what I want. Now, on to the rebuild.
