Re: 34 Phaeton pic test
This car was at the hartung auction. Actually probobly wash the windshield, install a main wire harness, put a rebuilt 36 mtor in, and any other mechanicals needed. The body is real good and the seat cushions are usable. It even has the cardboard on the doors. Pretty good all in all.

Re: 34 Phaeton pic test
There is a 1935 Ford 4-Door Convertible. Restored, great condition. Flathead V-8 Motor. in western Mass for sale. $35k on craigslist. If it is the one I think it is, I was there when they painted it in the early 80's.

Re: 34 Phaeton pic test
Congratulations, on the 34 and to me it looked nice and solid. The wood was nice and so was the metal all around. Alot of local guys said they were going to get it and didn't even want to be around for it. I felt a great buy and look forward to what your plans are for it.

Definetly a U.S. body. That car will be way too much fun to own.

Re: 34 Phaeton pic test
Thanks for all your comments they are appreciated. I am hoping it is a standard car that someone put cowl lights on. This next week I will check the holes on the body where the cowl lights attach. I have a delux 3W to compare. It has 1 tailight and painted w/s frame. However it does have 2 horns. As I get more familiar with uploading pictures I will show more details. It is a very complete car.

It looks like your phaeton has the original leather upholstery. I'm not sure if the Standard had leather. It might have had artificial leather. I don't know about that, for sure. I just posted several photos of my unrestored '34 Phaeton in an album, on my individual profile page. They show some details. MIKE Last edited by FL&WVMIKE; 11-12-2011 at 12:12 PM. |

Re: 34 Phaeton pic test
A few I took and do have a few more detailed pictures. I am not sure if it is a standard with original chrome posts, ashtray, horns and cowl lights. I did like the standard windshield frame and need one of them

Re: 34 Phaeton pic test
Wow, what an amazing car. I owned a 33 a short while before my 34 roadster popped up for sale. I had it mocked up like this. My Dad owns it now. Man I wish I could afford both!!!!
