Default Windows install 35 5 Window coupe

Hello, does anyone have the measurement for the window glass channel. Need from front of glass to channel. Thanks

This may be totally meaningless; but since the front of the doors & the regulators are the same, and it also appears that the window moves back the same amount to vent this may be a starting point. On my 3W it measures 15-1/4" inches from the front edge of the glass to the center line of the roller.

I have a 36 5 window, same car essentially. When I installed mine, I put the glass in the bare metal channel and used tape to hold in place to figure out correct position before I put the rubber in the channel. It was trial and error, but couldn't think of any other way. Good luck. Rod

I think Rich's method is pretty good; on two spare 35/36 sedan windows I've got, the measurement from front of window to centre of roller is 5"
