Default Is this a Model A part?

A small box of extra parts came home with my 29 ccpu. Old spark plugs, a couple model T coils, nuts and bolts...

And this...

Recognize it?

Thanks!

Randy

Looks like Tudor front seat mounting points to move the seat back a bit.

But I like the toilet seat holder explanation better!

You do realize, that with that finger nut it just might be the lid hinge holder for a toilet seat?

The important thing to note - is that this particular toilet seat retainer bolt - is an early 1928 AR model. According to my PLUMBERS CATALOG, page 27, it's parts/reference nomenclature is: "Model A", in case you want to order a second one.

Yes.....I first thought it might be a blind nut on backwards.....but I think you are right...

Beware those "boxes of spare OEM parts"!

This "humor" reminds me, why is it that NOBODY calls, until you're on the TOILET, without your PHONE???
Sometimes I just park my wheelchair in there, WITH my phone, to see if someone will ring me!!

No part of it attracts a magnet..nut included....feels too heavy to be aluminum..some sort of pot metal? Could be plated brass....guess I could try to polish it, nothing to loose!

TIP# 137: Chief always said, "When you buy a toilet repair part, ALWAYS buy TWO"!! And when you buy 1/16" bits, buy 6. BUT, if you choose multiple trips, there's MORE Ice Cream Stops!
THEN, we complain that the car "SHRUNK" & we no longer fit in it!!! SORRY for the poor humor, I "think" my COFFEE just kicked in. (The Dog just arrived, to CENSOR my remarks!)
