The B tranny is nice in that it tends to reduce the need to double clutch. Not like sychros but certainly it "works with you" on normal shifting.
I imagine between a B tranny and a lightened flywheel, driving might even be "modern." Joe K

I will try and summarize what I am doing and see if i have the solution correct. I have a 31WB pickup that had a southern engineered set up that I am trying to fix. I have a B headne and transmidown give or takewith B headtiming cover. and an A distributor on a Winfield 6.4 hc head. If i set the timing at tdc using the timing pin I will need to run? the
spark lever halfway down after starting the engine give or take I hope that makes sense |
