He also has to log in to see if he has a PM. That's one of the nicer features of the H.A.M.B. forum software. It has the option of sending an email to your regular email address informing you that you have a "conversation" entry (known as a "PM" on here).

(Or perhaps we do have that option here and I just don't know about it. Are there instructions somewhere?)
