Default CCPU safety lock

The doors on my ccpu often open when I hit a bump or make a shart turn. Does anyone make a simple safety lock that could prevent this? It seems that a sliding mechanism could be used as a safety lock without looking too bad.

If your door latch is set properly that problem should not exist. I'd start first with your latch!

I installed new latch’s in the door and posts. I have hit some pretty teeth jarring bumps but never had the doors pop open since.

My Late '31 CCPU had the problem of the passenger door becoming partially opened when going over any bumps. A very good friend of mine checked the passenger door top fit with the cab. That door had been replaced. By running a folded piece of paper along the top, he found an interference near the cab front. This may be helpful to you.

New door bumpers and correct alignment help a bunch.
