Default Measurement Needed Cross member

I've been having a heck of a time re-installing my front end after repair work to a front cross member. I'm starting to think my square hole may be slightly off and it needs to be filed back more. Can someone with a nice 1930-31 cross member take a measurement for me?

Pay no attention to the red circles, but I need someone to measure using a straight edge, the distance between the top of the square tie bolt hole to the top of the oval crank bearing hole on the passenger side. In the attacted diagram I need the measurement between the two black lines that the green arrow is in. If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

The spring goes in fine connected to the axle, but the problem I've been having is the getting the bolt head through the square hole. I'm starting to think maybe it was drilled slightly lower than the center or it was filed too much in the front when it was made square again after a repair. I wanted to check with an original, unaltered cross member.

I've gotten it really close and tried pulling it in with the weight of the car on it and the U bolts, but I still don't think it's fully seating in the hole. I wanted to check to see if I needed to file it out more towards the rear of the hole. Most of the tie bolt holes I've seen extended further past the other holes (crank bearing hones on either side) a tad bit. Mine seemed to be more in line with them.

Are you working on a AA frame or an A frame?

Here's pretty much every hole measurement there is off of a nice 30-31 cross member. Note that the square center hole is 9/16" and the measurement I think you wanted is 1/8". Good luck.

Working on an A frame. Man I wish I had those dimensions a few months ago, thanks a lot!
