Default Thanks Once Again To Charlie NY!!!!

Just received my two, 1941-style fuel pumps from Charlie. Rebuilt and returned within two weeks, coast-to-coast. I cannot say enough good things about Charlie's work. He previously rebuilt several 91-99 carbs for me. My car is finally wrapping up and I sleep better at night knowing that when I drive my car, I won't have any carb or fuel pump issues to deal with.

Thank you!

I second your praise for Charlie. Wonderful man that does wonderful work. He is the only fellow I have used to date that I KNOW will "get it right" each and every time.

I also have had Charlie rebuild a fuel pump for my '41. Great work and delivered in a timely fashion.

Are we doing this again?

I've been around these forums for ten years almost. I've said way too many times the story about how Charlie and my Dad were tight. Therefore I've been riding around in a '36 Phaeton with his rear, tranny, fuel pump, carb, dizzy and more essential bits. This car is such a sweetheart because of the folks from the Empire State. Word...

I enjoy what few phone chats I have with Charlie. I always leave the conversation with learned knowledge that didn’t exist in my head five minutes prior.

Adding to what has already been said. I just received my carburetor back from Charlie NY today and having the same experience as everyone else which is fantastic! Charlie found that I had the wrong fitting on it as well and provided me with the correct napa part number for it. I will go to napa and get the correct one. The carb was also damaged during shipment to him and he was able to fix the damage. I didn't use the proper packing when I shipped it to him. I saw how it should be done when I opened the box he shipped it back in. Can't wait to get it back on and hitting the car shows this spring. Thank you Charlie NY!!!

Charlie deserves high praise for simply being Charlie. Regardless of his skills, he's a rare individual.

Taking a 1942 Ford transmission ,21-29 carburetor, and a fuel pump up to Charlie Friday. He rebuilt the carb, fuel pump and distributor on my 1948 Ford business coupe. It runs
fantastic now. He also helped me solve a hot start problem I fought for two years.
